Privacy Policy

Family Care Circle is an invite-only family coordination app operated by its family administrator. This policy explains how information is used on familycarenotes.net. These policy pages are public; family care content is available only to signed-in, active members.

We use your email address, display name, account role and, when provided, mobile number to manage access and identify contributions. We store the content members submit, including care updates, meeting notes, comments, visit plans, questions, care details and photos, as well as notification preferences and related timestamps.

This information is used to coordinate family care, show shared content, send requested sign-in messages and deliver optional text alerts. Care summaries use an AI service to process the selected updates and questions.

Active invited members can read shared family content. Family administrators manage membership and can export care data. Share only information you are authorized to share, and avoid photos or identifying information about other residents.

Service providers supporting app hosting, data storage, authentication, AI summaries and SMS delivery process information needed to provide those services. Twilio processes mobile numbers and message content for text delivery. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.

Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in and consent data, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS opt-in and consent data is not sold or provided to other senders. Mobile information is used to deliver messages you request or agree to receive, with service providers as necessary for delivery. The app does not send marketing texts.

Optional recurring alerts cover the care areas you select. Requesting a texted sign-in code is separate from choosing care alerts. An invitation or family relationship alone is not consent to recurring alerts.

You can choose text alerts for everything or selected care areas in More → Notification settings, and turn them off and save your settings at any time. Reply STOP to opt out of messages from the sending number. Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies with care activity and your selections.

You can use email sign-in without enabling recurring text alerts. To request help, reply HELP or contact the family admin who invited you using your existing family contact details.

Browser storage keeps your sign-in session so you can access the private app. Family content may remain available after a member's access is deactivated; deactivation does not automatically delete past contributions.

Contact your family admin to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information. Copies previously exported or saved by family members may remain outside the app. Do not use this app as an emergency channel or an official medical record.

Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
